Arguably the most exciting player that the Miami Dolphins acquired this offseason is superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
Hill, who was a dominant force on the Kansas City Chiefs for years, will now look to add a new dimension and level of speed to the Dolphins offense.
While he’s only been a member of the Dolphins organization for a matter of months, he seems to already hold new Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel in high regard.
In fact, Hill likes McDaniel so much that he’s decided to turn his Twitter profile picture into an image of his new head coach.
McDaniel came over to South Florida early in the offseason after an impressive season as the offensive coordinator of the San Francisco 49ers. Now, he’ll get the chance to develop his own team culture and playbook with the Dolphins.
As Dolphins fans know, a lot of the team’s success in the upcoming season is going to hinge upon young quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s ability to take the next step in his progression and become a franchise quarterback.
That’s surely a big reason why the Dolphins front office felt it was wise to acquire Hill. With Hill and youngster Jaylen Waddle lining up on the flanks of the Dolphins offense, the unit is expected to be one of the fastest in the league.
Hopefully, Tagovailoa can utilize his high football IQ and touch on the ball to find his speedsters in space and give them opportunities to make plays with the ball in their hands.
Given how much Hill likes his new head coach, he’s likely confident that the team’s game plan will play nicely to his strengths.
