Miami Dolphins players react to finishing season with strong win vs. New England Patriots

The Miami Dolphins may not be heading to the NFL playoffs, but there is reason for optimism.

They finished the 2021 regular season with a 33-24 win over Mac Jones and the New England Patriots, and several players took to social media to spread some good vibes.

Rookie wide receiver Jaylen Waddle did accomplish something on Sunday. He set the NFL record for most receptions made by a first-year player, despite having a relatively quiet outing against New England.

Cornerback Xavien Howard ended a strong Pro Bowl season in strong fashion by recording an interception that he returned for a touchdown.

Although there is hope for next season, there are also some questions surrounding the Fins.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa showed some promise as the season went along, but there is still some doubt that he will definitely be the Dolphins’ franchise signal-caller moving forward.

Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is reportedly going to be on the trading block soon, and there are rumors that Miami will be in the mix for him.

In addition, there is a report that owner Stephen Ross will be interested in hiring former San Francisco 49ers and current University of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh if he leaves the college ranks.
