Brian Flores’ hilarious response when asked what he wants for Christmas
- Updated: December 24, 2021

With Christmas approaching, Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores was recently asked what’s on his wish list.
He offered a unique response.
what does Brian Flores want for Christmas?
“Well my mom always got me underwear for Christmas, so that’s my favorite gift.”

There’s probably another thing that would make Flores happy this holiday season: a trip to the playoffs for the Dolphins.
The idea of Miami making the postseason seemed like a ridiculous one not long ago, but the team has been able to win six straight games to get back in the playoff conversation.
Today, Miami is 7-7. The team has three games remaining, and a strong finish is going to be necessary if the Dolphins want to extend their season.
Getting back to .500 on the season is already an accomplishment in itself, but cracking the playoffs would be a massive feat for Miami considering how bleak things looked a couple of months ago. In order to accomplish that goal, a win over the New Orleans Saints on Monday would be a good step.
The Dolphins will be facing a shorthanded Saints team, as New Orleans will be without several key players due to health and injury issues. Rookie Ian Book is expected to get the start for the Saints at quarterback.
Book showed a lot of promise throughout his collegiate career, but he’s sort of getting thrown into the fire for his first career NFL start. It’ll be interesting to see if he can rise to the occasion.
The Dolphins would love to make it a long day for Book and come away with a victory to get back over .500 on the season.
