Report: Dolphins cutting veteran center Austin Reiter
- Updated: December 14, 2021

The Miami Dolphins have reportedly decided to cut veteran center Austin Reiter.
The #Dolphins are waiving veteran center Austin Reiter, per source. Started five games for Miami, but the team has gotten healthier at the position and will give him a chance to catch on elsewhere.

Reiter, who has been in the NFL for several years, appeared in six games this season for Miami. He started five of them.
The 30-year-old likely isn’t thrilled about getting cut in the middle of Miami’s playoff push, but the Dolphins clearly felt that it was the right time to make this decision.
Miami is trying to pull off an unbelievable turnaround and steal a postseason bid. The team is going to have to finish strong in order for that to happen.
The Dolphins are 6-7 with four games remaining. They’ll take on the New York Jets on Sunday.
