Jevon Holland issues strong message of support for Tua Tagovailoa
- Updated: November 23, 2021

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has received lots of criticism for his performances this season.
Many feel that the second-year pro isn’t a franchise quarterback. Dolphins rookie safety Jevon Holland recently issued a strong message of support for Tagovailoa on Instagram.
It seems as if Holland is confident in Tagovailoa’s ability to lead the Dolphins. Tagovailoa had a solid performance in Miami’s last game, completing 27 of his 33 passes for 273 yards and two touchdowns. Although he did throw one interception in the game, the 23-year-old led the Dolphins to a 24-17 win.

After starting off the season with a 1-7 record, Miami has now won its last three games. It seems to have gained lots of momentum in the second half of the season. With only six games left in the 2021 campaign, there is little room for error if the Dolphins want to end up making the postseason.
As for Holland, he has had a fantastic rookie season. The University of Oregon product has recorded 45 tackles this season. He also has six passes defended, two fumble recoveries, two sacks and one interception.

It seems like the Dolphins made a very good choice in selecting Holland with the 36th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He looks like he is going to be a starter for the Dolphins for a long time.
As for Tagovailoa, many have wondered whether or not he will be the Dolphins’ long-term starter behind center. Miami was one of the teams that had expressed interest in Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson prior to this season’s trade deadline.
Miami’s next game is at home against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
