Miami Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker left the team’s Week 7 game with a knee injury in the first half.
Fortunately, it sounds like the 24-year-old avoided anything serious.
Baker is in his fourth season at the NFL level. He has spent his entire pro carer with the Dolphins since being drafted by the organization in 2018.
This season, over seven games, he has two passes defended, a forced fumble and sack to his credit. It’s certainly good news for Miami that the youngster didn’t suffer a serious injury.
Miami likely isn’t going to make the playoffs this season, but staying healthy is important no matter what the standings look like.
