Brian Flores addresses the rumors linking Deshaun Watson to the Miami Dolphins
- Updated: October 22, 2021

The Miami Dolphins are reportedly back in the mix for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, and a deal could apparently be done this week.
Amid the rumors, Dolphins head coach Brian Flores chimed in.
On Deshaun Watson, Brian Flores says: “Tua is our quarterback. I’m happy with our quarterback.”

Flores seemingly has Tua Tagovailoa’s back and supports the second-year quarterback. However, a rumor surfaced earlier this week suggesting that the Dolphins are considering moving the 23-year-old. His future seems like a mystery with the Watson rumors swirling.
Tagovailoa just returned from an injury and had a strong showing in Week 6. However, if he wants to prove that he’s capable of becoming a star at the NFL level, he’s going to have to continue producing results.
Only time will tell if the youngster will get the chance to do so with the Dolphins. So far this season, Tagovailoa has completed 64.1 percent of his passes for 544 yards and three touchdowns.
With Miami sitting at 1-5 on the season, many folks are expecting the organization to shake things up.
