The Las Vegas Raiders recently parted ways with head coach Jon Gruden after he was exposed for making racist, misogynistic and homophobic comments in a plethora of correspondences.
On Wednesday, Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores offered his take on the matter.
Gruden has been involved in the NFL for many years, but it might be hard for him to land another job in the league amid the recent developments.
The 58-year-old has a career head coaching record of 117-112. He won a Super Bowl almost two decades ago with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Raiders were off to a solid start in 2021 before Gruden’s tenure with the team came to an end. Las Vegas is 3-2 on the year and is still hoping to snag a playoff bid.
Flores’ Dolphins, meanwhile, aren’t in a very comparable spot. At 1-4, Miami is going to need to flip a switch immediately if it wants to end up in the postseason.
