Former Miami Dolphins running back Lamar Miller thinks wide receiver Will Fuller will make an instant impact for the team when he returns in Week 2.
Miller, who played with Fuller on the Houston Texans, clearly knows that his former teammate is a difference maker on offense.
Fuller signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins in the offseason, but he missed Week 1 as he was serving out the final game of a six-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substances policy.
Now that Fuller has finished serving his suspension, he will join a receiving corps that features Jaylen Waddle and DeVante Parker.
An elite deep threat, Fuller finished with 53 catches for 879 yards and eight touchdowns in 11 games last season with the Texans.
He should help Tua Tagovailoa move the ball downfield and open things up for Waddle and Parker underneath.
The Dolphins face the Buffalo Bills in Week 2 as they try to remain atop the AFC East standings.
