The Miami Dolphins have dealt with injuries to most of their wide receivers throughout the preseason.

The injuries led to concern as the regular season got closer and closer, but most of the team’s wide receivers will reportedly be available for the season opener against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

DeVante Parker and Albert Wilson, both of whom missed time during training camp, are set to go for Sunday’s game. They will likely play important roles for the team’s offense during the game as well as the entire regular season.

Preston Williams, who has slowly been recovering from a foot injury, is currently the only unknown for Sunday. Receivers like Mack Hollins and Jakeem Grant should be able to step up in his absence if necessary.

Will Fuller will be out Sunday as he serves the last game of a six-game suspension he received last season while with the Houston Texans.

It will be interesting to see how the Dolphins use all of their weapons, including rookie Jaylen Waddle. Waddle was the No. 6 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and he figures to be a key part of the team’s offense this season.

Tua Tagovailoa’s receiving corps is much better this season than it was last season, and fans are expecting the team to take another leap.
