Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is expected to play against the Miami Dolphins in Sunday’s preseason game.
It sounds like Dolphins fans are going to get a look at one of the most exciting young quarterbacks in the NFL.
Burrow showed lots of promise during his rookie campaign in 2020 before an ACL injury ended his year. Before the setback, he appeared in 10 games. He completed 65.3 percent of his passes for 2,688 yards and 13 touchdowns.
The youngster made a name for himself during his time at Louisiana State University. During his senior season there, he completed 76.3 percent of his passes for 5,671 yards and 60 touchdowns in 15 games.
The Bengals are sure to be careful with Burrow this season, but the team seemingly thinks his recovery is at a point where he can play on Sunday.
It should be an intriguing preseason matchup. The regular season is rapidly approaching, and teams are starting to ramp up preparations for the year.
