After signing his first NFL contract with the Miami Dolphins, Jaylen Waddle paid tribute to the leadership qualities of quarterback Tua Tagoviloa.

Of course, Waddle and Tagovailoa played together at the University of Alabama, and they’ll be playing together once again in Miami.

Waddle and Tagovailoa represent the top two selections of the Dolphins in the past two drafts, with high expectations that the duo will be connecting on a regular basis in the years ahead.

For much of Tagovailoa’s rookie campaign last year, he limited the number of mistakes that are commonplace for any rookie quarterback.

Part of the reason for Tagovailoa’s limited number of errors was due to his solid work ethic. That’s been on display since he was chosen by the Dolphins last year.

Waddle has already seen Tagovailoa’s drive to get better at Alabama, and that previous chemistry very likely could expedite the rookie’s emergence in the NFL.

One of the key areas the Dolphins were looking at during the offseason was at the wide receiver position. With Waddle, the Dolphins are surely hoping that the’ll have the answer at the position for many seasons to come.
