Veteran cornerback Jason McCourty is now a member of the Miami Dolphins, but he made sure to offer a poignant farewell to the New England Patriots after playing the last three seasons alongisde his brother Devin.

Jason McCourty agreed to sign with the Dolphins earlier this week and will help bolster the depth of the team’s secondary at cornerback.
Unlike his brother, who’s spent his entire career with the Patriots, Jason McCourty will be playing for his fourth NFL team.
Yet, it’s clear that the opportunity for the McCourty brothers to play on the same team was something that doesn’t happen too often in the world of sports. The fact that the brothers were both part of the Patriots’ most recent Super Bowl team made that connection even sweeter.
Jason McCourty’s signing marks the latest instance of Dolphins head coach Brian Flores reconnecting with players from his previous role as a Patriots coach.
The McCourty brothers will get the opportunity to meet up twice during the season when the Dolphins and Patriots face off against each other.
