Jenkins appeared in 11 games for the Bears last season, and he recorded 21 tackles and one quarterback hit.
In 2019 with the Dolphins, Jenkins played in all 16 games, starting five, and recorded 34 tackles and one sack. He also had two tackles for a loss during the 2019 season.
Despite playing in just 11 games last season, Jenkins received a 72.6 grade from Pro Football Focus.
He should bring a veteran presence to Miami’s defensive line and its locker room.
The Dolphins were 10-6 last season, but they missed the playoffs after losing against the Buffalo Bills in Week 17.
