The Miami Dolphins have reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with former Baltimore Ravens center Matt Skura.
Skura will replace Ted Karras at center for the Dolphins after Karras decided to sign a one-year deal to return to the New England Patriots.
Last season, Skura appeared in 15 games for the Ravens, making 12 starts.
He was given a 50.3 grade by Pro Football Focus last season. In comparison, Karras was given a 65.3 grade during the 2020 campaign.
However, the Dolphins are betting that Skura can reclaim his 2019 form where he earned a 68.7 grade from PFF in 11 games.
The signing of Skura likely means that the Dolphins will not pursue another center, including David Andrews, on the open market.
