Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is leaving the Miami Dolphins for the Washington Football Team.
Fitzpatrick, 38, was reportedly unsure about his career in the NFL.
As a matter of fact, it was recently reported that he was considering retirement.
Of course, Fitzpatrick’s future with the Dolphins was uneasy due to the franchise’s drafting of rising star Tua Tagovailoa. The Dolphins selected the youngster with the No. 5 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
As a result, Fitzpatrick shifted into more of a mentor role. He lost his starting duty to Tagovailoa last year.
However, Fitzpatrick helped spearhead one of the most memorable comebacks in the NFL last season in a Dec. 26 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders to help keep the Dolphins’ postseason hopes alive.
