Miami Dolphins top 10 in Super Bowl odds for upcoming NFL season

While the 2020 season ended in disappointing fashion for the Miami Dolphins, some oddsmakers have high hopes for the 2021 version of the team when it comes to winning the Super Bowl.

The Dolphins are in a four-way tie for the seventh spot when it comes to odds from one popular sports book, sharing 20-1 odds with the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and Seattle Seahawks.

Among those squads, the Dolphins are the lone team not to play in the postseason this season.

Another interesting aspect of the odds is that six teams that did compete in the 2020 playoffs are ranked below the Dolphins.

The top favorite to reach Super Bowl LVI next February is the team that is hoping to win its second consecutive Super Bowl on Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs. They currently boast 5-1 odds.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Chiefs’ opponent for this year’s Super Bowl, are given 12-1 odds.

The Dolphins took a large step forward this past season and again have the benefit of a wealth of draft picks, including four of the first 50 picks and the third choice overall.
