The Miami Dolphins announced on Tuesday that they had promoted Lemuel Jeanpierre to offensive line coach.
Jeanpierre will replace Steve Marshall, who spent only one season with the team.
The 33-year-old spent last season with the Dolphins as an assistant offensive line coach. Prior to joining the Dolphins in 2020, Jeanpierre spent two seasons as an assistant offensive line coach for the Oakland Raiders and one season as an offensive assistant for the Seattle Seahawks.
Jeanpierre spent his playing career with the Seahawks. He helped the team win a Super Bowl in 2014.
Last season, the Dolphins offensive line allowed 34 sacks.
The team will surely be hoping that Jeanpierre will be able to help lower that total next season.
