Report: Brian Flores expects all of Buffalo Bills’ biggest stars to play Sunday vs. Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins have one game left on their schedule.

The game is against the AFC East champion Buffalo Bills. If the Dolphins win, they’re in the playoffs.

Many fans are wondering if the Bills, who already have their spot in the playoffs reserved, will rest their biggest stars. Dolphins head coach Brian Flores is not expecting that to be the case, and he’s urging his players to prepare as such.

“I expect everyone to play,” he said. “Sean’s [McDermott] a competitor, [offensive coordinator] Brian Daboll’s a competitor. Josh Allen, [Stefon] Diggs … I expect them all to play. That’s how we’re preparing.”

He went on to compliment the Bills and clarified that he needs the best out of his own players this week.

“Buffalo’s a good team,” Flores said. “They are. They play well offensively, defensively. … They’ve got good players. We’ve got a great challenge ahead of us. We’ve got to prepare ourselves the best way we can to go up to New York and play our best game of the season, or try to. That’s what it’s going to take against a team like this.”

The Bills currently hold a 12-3 record on the season. After years in the doldrums of the NFL, they’ve managed to create one of the league’s more explosive offenses thanks to Allen and Diggs.

As for the Dolphins, they’ve found success this season based on their defense.

The first matchup between these two teams back in Week 2 was a heavyweight battle that ended in a 31-28 Bills’ victory.

No matter who’s on the field on Sunday, Flores and the Dolphins will look to flip the script, get the win and punch their ticket to the playoffs.
