Dolphins LB Elandon Roberts carted off field after potential season-ending injury
- Updated: December 27, 2020
With the Miami Dolphins clinging to their playoff hopes, they suffered a significant blow in their Week 16 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Linebacker Elandon Roberts had to be carted off the field with what seemed to be a serious knee injury.
Elandon Roberts is being carted off the field with what seems like a right knee injury. Clearly it's serious. He only signed a one-year deal too. This is the problem with one-year, tryout deals.

In his fifth season out of Morgan State and the University of Houston, Roberts had started in 11 of the 12 games he had appeared in this season.
Coming into the game against the Raiders, the Dolphins were clinging to the third and final wild card spot in the AFC by virtue of a tiebreaker that put them ahead of the Baltimore Ravens.
With the Ravens scheduled to play the struggling New York Giants on Sunday, a loss to Las Vegas could very well be a death knell for the Fins’ postseason hopes.
Entering the fourth quarter, Miami was trailing Las Vegas by three points.
