Report: Miami Dolphins expect 4 starters back vs. Las Vegas Raiders
- Updated: December 26, 2020
The Mami Dolphins are expected to have four key offensive starters back in the starting lineup for their important Saturday night road battle against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Wide receivers DeVante Parker and Jakeem Grant, tight end Mike Gesicki and left guard Ereck Flowers will get one final assessment during the Dolphins’ pregame routine. There had been hope that the foursome could go and barring any unforeseen issues, it appears that they should start.
Parker and Grant have been battling hamstring issues that kept them out of last Sunday’s win over the New England Patriots.
In the case of Gesicki, his shoulder troubles also forced him out of the lineup against the Patriots. That particular injury could become problematic over the course of the game, since Gesicki will not only be asked to catch passes but also serve as a regular blocker.
Flowers sprained his ankle three weeks ago and was replaced by rookie Solomon Kindley, who himself is now out because of injuries.
Defeating the Raiders would help the Dolphins take a major step toward a playoff berth.
