Miami Dolphins running back Matt Breida says that he feels “100 percent healthy” after his battle with COVID-19.
It is great news, as Breida missed two games because of the virus.
Breida came to Miami this offseason in a deal with the San Francisco 49ers. The Dolphins gave up a fifth-round pick to acquire the speedy running back.
This season, Breida has carried the ball 47 times for 168 yards and no touchdowns.
Now that he is healthy, he will likely figure into Miami’s running back rotation.
With starter Myles Gaskin on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Breida, Salvon Ahmed and DeAndre Washington will likely split the backfield duties.
The Dolphins are currently 8-5 this season and take on the New England Patriots on Sunday.
