Report: Injury updates offered on several key Miami Dolphins players
- Updated: December 16, 2020

The Miami Dolphins have several important offensive players banged up ahead of their Week 15 matchup against the New England Patriots.
Wide receivers Jakeem Grant and DeVante Parker were able to practice in some capacity on Wednesday.
Running back Matt Breida has been activated off of the reserve/COVID-19 list after missing the team’s last two games. Salvon Ahmed was also at Wednesday’s practice in a non-contact jersey.
Finally, key defenders Kyle Van Noy and Elandon Roberts were both back at practice as well after missing last Sunday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Addendum: Kyle Van Noy and Elandon Roberts returned to practice after missing the Chiefs game. Myles Gaskin remains in the COVID-19 protocol.

While these are many positives, there was some bad news as well. Tight end Mike Gesicki and safety Bobby McCain reportedly both missed practice on Wednesday.
Mike Gesicki and Bobby McCain were not spotted at Dolphins practice today while DeVante Parker and Jakeem Grant (wrap on right leg) practiced in some capacity with their hamstring injuries. Matt Breida is off the COVID-19 list. Salvon Ahmed practiced in a red non-contact jersey.

Miami put up a good effort last week against the Chiefs, but they fell to 8-5 on the season with the loss.
The Dolphins will need to rebound against the Patriots this week if they want to keep themselves firmly in the hunt for a playoff spot in the AFC.
