The Miami Dolphins had multiple key players return to practice on Friday.
Linebackers Kyle Van Noy and Elandon Roberts returned after missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Van Noy has been dealing with a hip injury, while Roberts has been working to overcome a chest injury.
However, running back Salvon Ahmed and offensive lineman Ereck Flowers remained sidelined at Friday’s practice.
Ahmed’s injury and Matt Breida remaining on the COVID-19 list mean that Miami will likely roll with Myles Gaskin and DeAndre Washington at running back this week.
Van Noy and Roberts returning is big for Miami as it prepares to play Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs offense is lethal and will likely be the toughest test Miami has faced all season.
The Dolphins are currently 8-4 and in the thick of the AFC playoff race.
A win in Week 14 would go a long way to solidifying their spot in the postseason.
