Video: Miami Dolphins defense stampedes referee during interception celebration

1 Min Read

An early interception by the Miami Dolphins in their Sunday game against the Denver Broncos was a bit too enthusiastic as they bowled over a game official in the process.

The Denver pass was picked off by Miami’s Xavien Howard at the Denver 32, with Howard running the ball back 10 yards and then helping to overwhelm the official.

The Dolphins subsequently scored on a touchdown pass from Tua Tagovailoa to DeVante Parker to take an early 7-0 lead.

Entering Sunday’s game, the Dolphins are hoping to extend their five-game winning streak, with the last three victories coming with Tagovailoa behind center.

That recent surge has the Dolphins and their fans hoping to get back to the postseason. In addition, they’re also hoping that the early bit of humor they enjoyed is the first of many smiles on the day.
