- Updated: November 1, 2020

Tua Tagovailoa’s first game as the Miami Dolphins’ starting quarterback got off on the wrong foot on Sunday.
Seconds after dropping back during his first pass attempt, Tagovailoa was swarmed by Los Angeles Rams defenders and coughed up the ball deep in his team’s own territory.

Following the turnover, the Rams quickly marched down the rest of the field to score an easy touchdown.
Perhaps the only silver lining for Tagovailoa and the Dolphins here is that the youngster quickly popped up and appeared unharmed despite the nasty tackle.
That’s great news for any fans worried about Tagovailoa’s health and toughness.
With his first “Welcome to the NFL” moment behind him, hopefully Tagovailoa can move on and make some great plays throughout the rest of the game.
