The Miami Dolphins reportedly named Tua Tagovailoa their starting quarterback on Tuesday.
The No. 5 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft got a special shout-out from rapper Rick Ross for receiving the starting gig.

“Got word that Tua named the starting quarterback for the Miami Dolphins,” Ross said. “Congratulations little bro. You know what it is baby, 305 we turning up.”
The rookie from the University of Alabama made his NFL debut against the New York Jets on Sunday and completed both of his passes for nine yards.
Miami is 3-3 this season under veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick, but it clearly saw enough from Tagovailoa to turn to the rookie.
The Dolphins are clearly focused on the future and believe that Tagovailoa is going to be the face of the franchise.
Miami is heading into its bye week in Week 7, but will return to face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 8.
Tagovailoa will look to extend Miami’s two-game winning streak when he makes his first career start against the Rams.
