Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew claps back at Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick with blatant diss
- Updated: September 22, 2020
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew responded to Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick’s criticism of his facial hair.
Minshew took a shot at Fitzpatrick’s age when comparing the two quarterbacks’ facial hair.
After Ryan Fitzpatrick proclaimed beards are cooler than mustaches, Gardner Minshew responded: "I'll let mine speak for itself… but I'm gonna have respect for my elders. Especially when they're much, much elder." pic.twitter.com/vEC277ysCj

Fitzpatrick, who said that growing a beard was “cooler” than Minshew’s signature mustache, is one of the more senior members in the NFL.
The Jaguars and Dolphins square off this week on Thursday Night Football.
While the Dolphins are sitting at 0-2 on the season, the Jaguars shocked everyone by beating the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1.
Both teams aren’t expected to be playoff contenders this season, but it should still make for a fun matchup on Thursday.
Not only do Minshew and Fitzpatrick have a chance to play for bragging rights on the field, but they also can continue their friendly facial hair rivalry as well.
