- Updated: June 17, 2020
On Tuesday, EA Sports released the official gameplay trailer for “Madden NFL 21,” where fans were able to get a sneak peek at Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Tagovailoa appears in the first five seconds of the video, giving out high fives to some of his teammates on the bench.
One of the teammates Tagovailoa is high-fiving in the video appears to be defensive tackle Christian Wilkins, the Dolphins’ first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Although this was a first look into how the quarterback will appear in the game, Tagovailoa’s rating has yet to be revealed, and that is something that fans are likely anxiously waiting for.
The 22-year-old was the fifth selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, and was the second quarterback to be selected, behind Joe Burrow, who went first overall to the Cincinnati Bengals.
The game is set to be released worldwide on Aug. 28, but fans will be able to access it three days early, should they preorder it.
