The Miami Dolphins undoubtedly hope that Tua Tagovailoa will one day be considered amongst the NFL’s elite quarterbacks.
As it turns out, the University of Alabama product already shares some pretty impressive similarities with Seattle Seahawks superstar Russell Wilson.
As the statistics prove, Tagovailoa has shown the potential to be one of the most accurate down-field passers in football.
While he likely won’t enjoy the same protection from the offensive line in the NFL as he did in college, Tagovailoa has proven that he can throw the deep ball both in and outside of the pocket.
Now, it is the Dolphins’ job to make sure that they give the No. 5 overall pick the tools that he needs to succeed at the next level.
Receiver DeVante Parker had a breakout season last year and has all the speed and size necessary to be a major star in the league. However, the Dolphins still need to improve their offensive line and stable of running backs.
If they are able to address their offensive needs in the coming years, there is little doubt that the Dolphins could one day enjoy an elite offense just like the Seahawks have enjoyed throughout Wilson’s tenure with the team.
