Miami Dolphins receiver DeVante Parker left Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans after aggravating an ankle injury in the first quarter. While Parker was later seen testing out his ankle on the sideline, it was ultimately decided that he would not return to the game and was ruled out by the team.
Following Parker’s departure from the game, backup receivers Jakeem Grant and Leonte Carroo saw an increase in their snaps.
Since being drafted 14th overall in the 2015 NFL Draft, the talented receiver has struggled with several minor injuries, still he has shown the potential to be a dominant receiver in the league. With 230 yards receiving and one touchdown already this season, Parker is currently on track for his most productive season in the NFL.
The Dolphins’ offense has struggled all season. If Parker is to miss anymore time past this Sunday, those problems are likely to continue.
