Dolphins Receiver Kenny Stills Speaks Out in Twitter Rant About NFL Players Protesting

Last season, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills was one of the players who protested during the national anthem.

On Tuesday night, Stills went on a Twitter rant and called for players who aren’t protesting to fight racial inequality, police brutality and the NFL’s stance on former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

While Stills said he won’t kneel as a way of protesting during the 2017-18 season, he doesn’t understand why more NFL players aren’t speaking out.

“I just felt like, we’re getting more attention for our protests than we were for the actual work we were doing,” Stills told Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald back in August. “Now, we need to focus on action, and I feel like I’ve done a lot of that last year. I’ve done everything I can here in this community and I’ll continue to do that this year.”

Stills, who is no stranger to being an active member of the community, was the winner of the Dolphins’ Nat Moore Community Service Award last year for his efforts.
