Jarvis Landry Reacts to Odell Beckham Jr. Taking Big Hit During Preseason Game

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry took to Twitter last night to express his frustration over a tackle made by Cleveland Browns defensive back Briean Boddy-Calhoun that injured New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

The hit happened during Monday night’s preseason contest between the Browns and Giants when Boddy-Calhoun tackled Beckham Jr. below the knees following a completed pass by Giants quarterback Eli Manning.

The hit caused Beckham Jr.’s leg to buckle in an awkward way, with the wide receiver clearly in a lot of pain after the play.

A video of the play Landry referred to in his tweet can be seen below. Was the tackle by Boddy-Calhoun on Beckham Jr. legal or dirty? You be the judge:

Landry and Beckham Jr. are good friends off the field, as both played college football together as teammates at Louisiana State University and both were top picks in the 2014 NFL Draft.
