Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores pointed to the team’s decision-making and execution as the chief reasons why the Dolphins fell to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
"Combination of both," Flores said on the two fourth down plays that cost Miami the game. "Decision making and execution. When you rewatch it we could have done that, and we could have done this. I have peace in the calls we make based on what we though could, or might happen."

The loss was especially frustrating to the Dolphins, who dropped their fifth straight game, since they lost to the previously winless Jacksonville Jaguars.
Miami had jumped out a 13-3 lead in the first half and held a 20-17 lead in the fourth quarter before the Jaguars connected on field goals from 54 and 53 yards, respectively, to win it.
Tua Tagovailoa’s return to the lineup was spoiled in the defeat, with the second-year signal-caller connecting with rookie Jaylen Waddle on two touchdown passes.
The Dolphins try to get back to winning next Sunday when they host the Atlanta Falcons. Needless to say, Flores will be emphasizing better execution and will make an effort to improve the decision-making in that contest.
