Tom Brady pays massive compliment to ‘great football coach’ Brian Flores ahead of game vs. Miami Dolphins

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins will meet this weekend in Tampa Bay.

Ahead of the matchup, Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady spoke very highly about Dolphins coach Brian Flores.

“Flo does a great job,” Brady said. “He’s a great football coach. He’s coached different positions on the defensive side of the ball, so I think he has a great understanding, and Josh Boyer, who I know really well, he was coaching defense when I was at the [New England] Patriots for a long time. He does a great job with the secondary, he’s a great play caller. … They try to throw the quarterback off a bit.”

Flores and Brady spent more than a decade working together at the Patriots organization. Flores coached on the defensive side of the ball, but he surely interacted with Brady every now and then.

Flores and the Dolphins are in for a tough test this weekend against Brady and the Bucs. Miami is off to a 1-3 start, and if the team wants to salvage its season, it can’t afford to drop many more games.

Tampa Bay, meanwhile, is off to a 3-1 start. The Buccaneers are Super Bowl contenders once again, and anything short of a championship would likely be considered a disappointment for Bucs fans.

It should be a fun matchup between the two teams on Sunday. Dolphins fans, of course, have seen a lifetime’s worth of Brady due to his time in the division with the Patriots.
