This is not the first starter that the Dolphins have parted ways with this summer. Still, McCain is probably the hardest player to say goodbye to, as the veteran has played his entire career in Miami since entering the NFL in the 2015 NFL Draft.
With McCain gone, it now seems likely that rookie Jevon Holland will be given every opportunity to claim the starting spot.
Malik Hooker, whom the Dolphins had visit earlier this week, is also a name to watch when it comes to new additions to the Dolphins roster.
