The Miami Dolphins’ schedule for the upcoming 2025 season is set to be released in full on NFL Network on Wednesday night.
But even before Miami’s 17-game schedule has become public knowledge, there have been some reports that have leaked parts of the schedule. For example, the Dolphins will take on the Washington Commanders in the country of Spain on Nov. 16, and that contest will be a prime-time game and held in the capital city of Madrid.
Jason Sarney recently gave even more info on Miami’s schedule this season with the schedule release only hours away. Specifically, the Dolphins will play four more prime-time games on top of the prime-time matchup against the Commanders overseas.

In addition to the #MiamiDolphins game versus the Washington Commanders in Spain, Iโm told there will be another (4) Primetime matchups for the Fins.
We know the Bills and Jets Week 3 and 4. (2) to follow. Per source. #PhinsUp

According to schedule leaks… the Dolphins will play FIVE, yes, five, primetime games in 2025
Week 3 in Buffalo
Week 4 vs. Jets
Week 9 vs. Ravens
Week 11 vs. Commanders (Spain)
Week 15 in Pittsburgh@Jason_Sarney has some of the leaks— Nic Rohloff (@nic_rohloff) May 14, 2025
The Buffalo Bills and Dolphins’ Week 3 matchup is one that folks should circle on their calendars, as they are divisional rivals who have long vied for supremacy in the AFC East. The Bills have won the division in five straight seasons, but the Dolphins finished tied with Buffalo for the division’s best record in the 2023 season at 11-6.
The New York Jets are maybe a more surprising inclusion to Miami’s list of prime-time games considering they haven’t qualified for the playoffs in more than 10 years, but they’re another divisional rival of Miami.
Miamiโs other two prime-time matchups will take place against AFC North foes. The Dolphins reportedly will play on Thursday Night Football in Week 9 against the Baltimore Ravens and Monday Night Football in Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Dolphins will try to have a bounce back in the 2025 season after they underperformed in the 2024 campaign. Miami won just eight of its 17 games last season and missed out on the playoffs for the first time since Mike McDaniel took over as the team’s head coach.
Hopefully, the Dolphins can get back in the playoffs in the near future, and whether they do could hinge on the availability of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Tagovailoa played in just 11 of the Dolphins’ 17 games in the 2024 season, and they had just a 2-4 record without him leading the offense.
