DuBose was taken off on a stretcher and brought to a Houston hospital, where he spent the night for evaluation.
On Monday, the Dolphins shared a positive update on the former seventh-round pick, stating that he has movement in all extremities.

This is a positive sign for the young receiver, and hopefully he will be able to make a full recovery.
Following the game, Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud sent out prayers to the Dolphins receiver, an extremely thoughtful and classy gesture by the star quarterback.

This season, DuBose has appeared in three games for the Dolphins, catching two passes (on four targets) for 11 yards. He has played in 50 offensive snaps (23 percent) in his three games for Miami.
The Dolphins have limited depth at the receiver position after they parted ways with veteran receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Now, there will likely be more on the plate of Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Malik Washington on offense for Miami.
Not only did the Dolphins lose DuBose to a scary injury, but they also saw their playoff hopes dwindle on Sunday. Miamiโs loss to the Texans pushed it to 6-8 on the season, leaving it multiple games back of the final playoff spot in the AFC.
According to NFL.com, the Dolphins currently have a playoff probability of just 6.0 percent following their Week 15 loss.
Miamiโs remaining games this season are against the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns and New York Jets. All three of those teams are under .500, so they could be winnable games for the Dolphins.
If Miami can win all three games, it would give itself the best shot possible to make the postseason. Itโll be interesting to see if the Dolphins add a receiver to the roster in the coming days to help replace the loss of DuBose. Itโs hard to imagine the young receiver playing in a game again this season, especially since the Dolphins wouldn’t want to risk him suffering another head injury in the coming weeks.
