Jordan Poyer’s wife calls Joe Biden ‘puppet’: ‘How long are we going to pretend and act like Biden is the one running this country’

Rachel Bush, the wife of Miami Dolphins safety Jordan Poyer, has made her thoughts about Joe Biden known on social media. She argued that the current president is merely a “puppet” and encouraged others to also question what’s going on.

Her comments came on the heels of the first of what could be a string of presidential debates between Biden, who is seeking to run for re-election, and the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee, Donald Trump.

Biden’s uneven performance and behavior in the debate, particularly his raspy voice and frequent bewildered expressions, had the NBA and NFL world offering unfiltered reactions on X (formerly Twitter) and has had some figures from the Democratic Party scrambling to look for a replacement as the standard-bearer.

On the other hand, some people like Bush have expressed a deeper concern about whether the 81-year-old president has really been the one in charge of the nation in the past years.

A day after the debate with Trump, Biden appeared to be more animated at a rally in North Carolina, acknowledging his performance was not the best. It also doesn’t seem like he is withdrawing his candidacy.

Only time will tell if Bush will continue voicing her negative opinion about the incumbent president. Furthermore, it’s unclear if Poyer shares the exact sentiment as his wife.

What’s likely is that Poyer is looking forward to helping the Dolphins once the 2024 NFL regular season starts.

The 33-year-old had suited up for the Buffalo Bills in the past seven seasons, securing a first-team All-Pro selection in 2021 and earning a Pro Bowl berth in 2022. Interestingly, he appeared to express interest in joining the Dolphins last year. The move to Miami may have come a year late, but his arrival should give a boost to a defense that ranked just 22nd in allowed average points in the 2023 campaign.

Poyer also endeared himself to Dolphins fans recently when he talked up Anthony Weaver’s “exciting” defense.

The Oregon State University product is the only NFL player with more than 650 combined tackles, 20 interceptions and 10 sacks in the past seven seasons. So, there is plenty of optimism that he can help take Miami’s defense to the next level.
