Video: Tyreek Hill completely shakes off Buccaneers defender during joint practice
- Updated: August 10, 2022
The Miami Dolphins are holding a couple of joint practices with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, their neighbors to the north, this week.
Preseason joint practices between two teams are a great way for players to face off against different players prior to the start of games.
For one Bucs defender, that meant having to go against Tyreek Hill on Wednesday.
Unsurprisingly, the Bucs defender was not ready for the agility and speed that Hill possesses. Hill put him on skates, much to the enjoyment of those watching the practice.

When the Dolphins traded for the six-time Pro Bowler earlier this offseason, they immediately got one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the NFL. Hill is a touchdown threat every time he catches the ball.
Last season, he caught 111 balls for 1,239 yards and nine touchdowns. Surely, he’s going to look to enjoy a similar level of success with his new team.
So far, news coming out of the Dolphins’ training camp has been positive. Hill has made a number of impressive plays, and that’s been made especially exciting because it’s been quarterback Tua Tagovailoa getting him the ball on most occasions.
Tagovailoa is entering a potential make-or-break season with the Dolphins. If he can take advantage of the new talent on offense and excel behind center, the Dolphins could be one of the better teams in the AFC.
With just a few weeks before the NFL regular season gets underway, excitement in South Florida and across the league is palpable.
Hopefully, the excitement in Miami proves to be deserved.
