Tyreek Hill says he’s ‘sick’ of going up against Xavien Howard because he’s been ‘locking me up’

During NFL training camps, players who are on the same team are forced to play against each other.

That can lead to some pretty competitive matchups, especially if there is a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. That is absolutely the case this summer on the Miami Dolphins when it comes to the matchup between superstar cornerback Xavien Howard and superstar receiver Tyreek Hill.

While Hill is considered one of the most dangerous wideouts in the league, he recently admitted that even he is having a tough time going against the lockdown defender that is Howard.

While Hill may be getting tired of going against Howard, the fact that they are pushing one another should come as fantastic news to Dolphins fans.

Of course, training camp is a time for players to get back into game condition when it comes to the schemes and plays they will run once the regular season begins.

As the saying goes, iron sharpens iron, and neither Hill nor Howard could ask for a more competitive matchup in training camp.

So far, all of the news coming out of Dolphins training camp has been positive. Players seem confident in the ability of the team. They also seem impressed with the progress quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has made.

It will be players like Hill, Howard and Tagovailoa that end up deciding how the 2022 season goes for the Dolphins.

If training camp is any indication, the upcoming season should be a fun one for fans in South Florida.
