Raheem Mostert shares huge news with Miami Dolphins fans regarding his injury recovery
- Updated: July 25, 2022
One of the more interesting player acquisitions the Miami Dolphins made this offseason was their addition of running back Raheem Mostert. Mostert, who has suffered a number of injury setbacks over the past couple of seasons, was once known as one of the fastest running backs in the league.
He’s going to have to prove that he still deserves that reputation this season. Luckily, according to the man himself, Mostert is going to get an opportunity to do just that, as he’s been cleared to return to action.
GM everyone! Wanted to give you all an update…
Yah Boy is CLEARED!!! It’s go time!!— Raheem Mostert (@RMos_8Ball) July 25, 2022
It’s been a long journey to get to this point!! I have so many people to thank. Starting with God, Dr. Cooper, and my wife.

Being told you may never step on the field again isn’t easy to hear… But when you bet on yourself, your faith, your determination, and modern medicine, good things happen 🙏🏾 Hard work pays off! Beyond thankful!! Year 8, LFG!!!

Mostert suffered a knee injury in his first game of the 2021 season, and he missed the remainder of the campaign as a result. Clearly, he approached his rehabilitation journey with incredible determination.
It’s great news for Mostert and for the Dolphins, as he’ll get a chance to prepare with the team for the 2022 campaign. The running back rotation for the team is still very unsettled, but Miami certainly has no shortage of quality options.
For Mostert specifically, he’s capable of playing a variety of roles. At 5-foot-10 and 205 pounds, he’s often been utilized as a ball carrier that can change the pace of a game. He’s incredibly quick on his feet and has shown an ability to catch the ball as well.
When he’s at his best, he’s a threat to take it the distance whenever he’s got the ball in his hands.
Perhaps his most exciting season came during the 2019 campaign. During that season, he ran the ball 137 times for 772 yards and eight touchdowns. He also added 14 catches for 180 yards and two touchdowns through the air.
If Mostert can get anywhere near that kind of production this season with the Dolphins, there’s no doubt that the team will greatly benefit as a result.
