Patrick Mahomes breaks his silence on Tyreek Hill’s controversial comments, admits he’s ‘surprised’

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes reacted to Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill’s controversial comments.

Hill claimed that Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is a more accurate passer than Mahomes, and he also questioned how often the Chiefs gave him the ball during his time in Kansas City.

In response, Mahomes didn’t take any shots at Hill. Instead, he shared how much he appreciated playing with the receiver.

Mahomes and Hill were an elite duo in Kansas City, and they won a Super Bowl together against the San Francisco 49ers. It doesn’t seem like Mahomes has any hard feelings toward Hill after his comments.

Hill and the Chiefs were unable to come to terms on a contract extension this offseason, and it led to the team trading him to the Dolphins.

Last season, Hill caught 111 passes for 1,239 yards and nine touchdowns with the Chiefs.

Now, he is looking to bring his dynamic playmaking ability to the Dolphins and continue to prove that he is one of the very best receivers in all of football.

Mahomes and the Chiefs will move forward and look to find success in the passing game despite not having Hill around anymore. Even though they won’t have Hill’s dynamic speed on the outside, the Chiefs still have arguably the best quarterback in the NFL in Mahomes.

The Dolphins are hoping that the addition of Hill will help Tagovailoa take the next step and bring the team to the playoffs in the 2022 season.
