Georgia LB Channing Tindall appears to reveal that he’s visiting the Miami Dolphins

The 2022 NFL Draft is less than a month away, and the Miami Dolphins are opening their facilities to talented draft prospects.

It appears that Channing Tindall, a talented linebacker who played his college ball at the University of Georgia, is the latest draft prospect to tour the team’s facilities.

One thing that Dolphins fans are likely quite aware of is that the team does not have the typical slate of picks that NFL teams usually enter the draft with. That, of course, is because the Dolphins have opted to trade away a lot of their picks.

Right now, the Dolphins currently have a third-round pick, a fourth-round pick and two seventh-round picks. It’s pretty slim pickings for the Dolphins. For that reason, the fact that Tindall is visiting the team makes it quite clear that it is very interested in the young defender.

In his collegiate career, Tindall recorded 108 total tackles, 12 sacks and one forced fumble. He is known as a fairly versatile defender even though he may lack the elite talent to play on the edge in the NFL.

Tindall has been projected by a fair number of draft experts to ultimately be selected in the third round of the upcoming draft. For that reason, it is quite possible that he becomes the first player taken off the board by the Dolphins.

Though the Dolphins won’t be so active in the upcoming draft, there’s no doubt that they have had a successful offseason. The team has already surrounded young quarterback Tua Tagovailoa with immense talent.

The draft will likely be used by the team to fill holes and plan for the future. Whether or not that includes Tindall remains to be seen.
