Report: Miami Dolphins trading DeVante Parker to New England Patriots
- Updated: April 2, 2022

The Miami Dolphins are reportedly trading wide receiver DeVante Parker to the New England Patriots.
Trade terms, per source:
Patriots get WR DeVante Parker and a 2022 5th-round pick.
Dolphins get a 2023 third-round pick.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 2, 2022
Parker was originally drafted by the Dolphins in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft from the University of Louisville. The 29-year-old had consistency and injury issues during his time in Miami.
Last season, Parker played in only 10 games, starting in eight of those contests. He ended the year with 40 receptions for 515 yards and two touchdowns.
This offseason, the team made some big moves and acquired Tyreek Hill and Cedrick Wilson Jr. Those moves made Parker expendable.
It will definitely be a bit strange to see Parker play for the Patriots and face off against the Dolphins during the 2022 season.
