Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle announced his plans for the holidays in a humorous way, possibly coming as a surprise to his quarterback.

The Dolphins are coming off their sixth win in a row after defeating the New York Jets 31-24 on Sunday. Miami has been rattling off wins after getting off to a bumpy start to the season.

Waddle is closing in on 1,000 receiving yards in his rookie season with the Dolphins after being taken sixth overall in 2021. He has 849 receiving yards and 86 catches with four receiving touchdowns this season.

Waddle didn’t play in Miami’s win over the Jets on Sunday, the first game he has missed this season. Tagovailoa has been playing well for Miami since returning to the field after missing four games earlier in the season.

Tagovailoa finished with 196 passing yards and two touchdown passes in the win over the Jets on Sunday, the second win over their division rivals this season. He has 2,141 yards passing and 14 touchdown throws this season.

The Dolphins are 7-7 overall season after the win on Sunday. Miami will play again on Monday night on the road against the New Orleans Saints. Following the Monday night matchup, the Dolphins will close the season out against the Tennessee Titans and the New England Patriots.

The Dolphins will need to pick up as many wins as they can if they want to remain in the hunt for a postseason berth.
