This is a great development for Miami. At certain points throughout the week, it looked like the Dolphins were going to enter their matchup with the Jets with a brutal running back situation. Fortunately, with Gaskin and Ahmed back, things are looking a lot better.
Gaskin has appeared in 13 games this season. He has racked up 526 yards and three touchdowns on 154 carries.
Ahmed, meanwhile, has appeared in 12 games. He has totaled 149 yards on 54 carries so far.
The Dolphins are trying to keep things moving in the right direction. The team has won five straight games and is trying to complete a massive turnaround to steal a playoff bid.
