With the Dolphins essentially out of playoff contention and the trade deadline approaching, there has been some chatter about the possibility of Miami trading Howard.
It remains to be seen if the two-time Pro Bowler will actually get moved, but one NFL source thinks that the Dolphins’ return on a potential deal involving Howard would be underwhelming.
In six games this season, Howard has nine passes defended, two interceptions, a forced fumble and fumble recovery to his credit.
Last season, the former second-round pick put up some monster numbers. He led the league in interceptions and passes defended.
Only time will tell if Howard finds himself playing for the Dolphins once the trade deadline passes.
