Brian Flores offers mixed update on when Will Fuller could return for Miami Dolphins
- Updated: October 25, 2021

Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores offered an injury update on wide receiver Will Fuller on Monday.
According to Flores, Fuller is “getting closer,” but he likely won’t be able to return to practice just yet.
"Will is doing everything he can to get back. I don't think it's this week. But I think he's getting closer," Dolphins coach Brian Flores on Will Fuller.

Asked by our @OmarKelly about why Will Fuller isn't seen around even watching practice, Flores: "He's been around."
Flores says he sees Fuller every day, adds that he does rehab work inside during practice, which is why he's not visible during media viewing portion of drills.

Fuller’s 2021 campaign has been ravaged by injuries and other setbacks. He has appeared in just two games as a result.
The 27-year-old was expected to be a major part of Miami’s attack on offense this season, but he has just four receptions for 26 yards on the year.
There’s really no reason to rush Fuller back at this point, as the Dolphins aren’t likely to challenge for a playoff bid after their 1-6 start. Staying healthy should be one of the top priorities for the remainder of the year.
When Fuller is healthy and at his best, he’s capable of being a big weapon. Last season, for example, he reeled in 53 catches for 879 yards and eight touchdowns over just 11 games.
