The Dolphins have been without Tagovailoa for several weeks, and they haven’t a won game in his absence. This weekend, Miami has a winnable game on its hands against Jacksonville.
This season, before going on the shelf, Tagovailoa had completed 54.8 percent of his passes for 215 yards and a touchdown.
The 23-year-old has a lot to prove this season, and it sounds like he’s going to get a chance to silence the naysayers starting this weekend.
The Dolphins are 1-4 on the year and are in danger of falling out of the playoff conversation already. Tagovailoa will hope to get things moving in the right direction for the team.
